Exact Solar helps Camden County homeowners understand their options for generating electricity at home. From residential installations in Cherry Hill to solar paired with battery storage in Haddonfield, we start with a conversation about your household’s needs and what you want to accomplish.
We will evaluate your roof’s condition, available sunlight, and electricity usage to recommend a system suited to your home. Your detailed, custom proposal will explain the equipment, expected production, costs, and potential savings. We can also discuss payment options, battery backup, and how an electric vehicle could affect your future electricity needs.
Our in-house team handles design, permitting, installation, and utility coordination, keeping you informed along the way. After installation, you’ll have a team you can rely on for years to come for questions or support with your system.
Solar gives Camden County businesses and organizations an opportunity to put their properties to work generating electricity. Exact Solar works with commercial property owners, schools, houses of worship, and nonprofits to evaluate how solar can support their operations and long-term energy goals.
Our work in Camden County includes solar installations for churches in Berlin and Cherry Hill. These projects reflect the range of buildings and electrical needs our team encounters, from community facilities to larger commercial properties.
We evaluate electricity usage, building structure, available space, and project requirements to determine a practical path forward. Depending on the property, that may include rooftop solar, a ground-mounted system, or a solar carport.
In 2025, Exact Solar installed a 248 kW rooftop solar system at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Berlin. The project brings on-site renewable electricity generation to a local house of worship, making productive use of the building’s roof space.
The relationship also extended beyond this installation: Solid Rock referred two affiliated churches to Exact Solar. That connection is a meaningful example of how our work with one organization can introduce solar to others in its community.
For Camden County businesses and nonprofits exploring solar, Solid Rock offers a local example of a substantial rooftop installation.

“Really pleased with the excellent service and high quality of Exact Solar. They provided a personal touch throughout the entire process, unlike the other solar vendors I contacted, who simply want to pigeonhole you into one of their pre-packaged solutions regardless of your unique needs or goals. I cannot recommend Exact Solar highly enough for any of your residential solar needs.“

“Exact Solar’s team, from sales, project management, to installation, was superb in every way. They worked through absolutely brutal weather conditions to get our installation done on time and on budget. We’ve now got a solar array generating power for us, two EV chargers in our garage, and a battery backup. Best of all? My electric bill for April 2020? *negative* 78 dollars.“

Many homes are suitable for solar, but the answer depends on the property. Roof condition, available space, shading, and electricity usage all affect the design. Exact Solar evaluates these factors and reviews the applicable municipal and utility requirements to help you understand whether your home is a good fit.
The cost depends on the size of the system, installation requirements, equipment, and whether you include battery storage. Roof work or electrical upgrades can also affect the total. We provide a proposal based on your property and electricity usage, with an explanation of the system’s expected production and costs.
Net metering allows eligible solar customers to receive credit for excess electricity sent to the utility grid. When your panels produce more power than your property is using, that electricity can help offset power you draw from the grid at other times. Your utility’s billing rules determine how those credits are applied and settled.
Depending on your eligibility and the project, options may include purchasing your system with cash, financing it, or choosing a power purchase agreement, also called a PPA. With a PPA, you purchase the electricity the system produces rather than owning the equipment. Our team can explain the available options and the responsibilities that come with each.
Your savings depend on how much electricity you use, how much your system produces, utility rates, and how you pay for solar. Your proposal will include production and savings estimates based on your property. You’ll generally remain connected to the utility and may still have charges on your electric bill.
Solar panels alone generally shut down during a utility outage. A system equipped with compatible battery storage and backup controls can power selected circuits when the grid is down. We can help you identify what you want to keep running and explain how battery capacity and electricity use affect backup duration.
That depends on your electricity use, available sunlight, installation costs, and long-term plans for the property. We’ll walk you through the expected production, costs, and potential savings so you can evaluate the numbers for yourself. A consultation is an opportunity to ask questions and see whether solar fits your goals.
