Exact Solar Named to Elite Private Company Ranking for Third Year
In the 38th annual Inc. 5000 ranking, Exact Solar named again, earning a spot that recognizes record recent year on year business growth. Only one out of every eight private companies have performed well enough to earn a mention for three consecutive years.
The list highlights those that are successful in the most dynamic segment of the American economy – independent small and midsized businesses. According to the publication, the chosen are creators. They create companies, they create value, and they create jobs. Many have gone on to be the most recognized public brands, such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and others.
According to Mark Bortman, owner and CEO of Exact Solar:
We are honored to be recognized on the Inc. 5000 for the third year in a row. In a competitive solar energy market, credit really goes to our amazing team, from salespeople to installers to our excellent office staff, that always puts our customers first and never gives less than 100%. Because of our team, Exact Solar was one of just four Pennsylvania energy related companies to be named and the only company with an exclusive solar power focus.
Mark adds:
Our smaller size allows us to take the time each customer needs to be educated about what they are purchasing and confident that they are getting the best system for their home and their family. Unlike the larger national installers, we never incentivize our installers with bonus pay for faster installations, so each job is installed perfectly for each unique home. That attention to detail, and obvious care, makes all the difference to our customers.
Not only have the companies on the 2019 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list overall impressive growth compared with prior lists. The 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years. These top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc., available on newsstands August 20.
Says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter,
The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success. There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.
In addition to being recognized nationally for our business growth, Exact Solar is especially proud of our repeated industry and customer rankings. For six years running, the company has received an Angies’s List Super Service award, a direct measure from our customers. We have also been a Top 500 Solar Contractor for six consecutive years, recognized among our solar peers.
