Every month, your organization pays the utility for energy you will never own. It is a permanent operating expense that increases year after year, leaving your facility exposed to rising rates, demand charges, and grid instability.
Solar changes that. It lets your business generate its own power from a reliable, long-term asset. For many facilities, solar becomes one of the most impactful upgrades they can make to control costs, strengthen resilience, and improve long-term planning.
For more than 20 years, Exact Solar has partnered with businesses, schools, nonprofits, and municipalities across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. We have completed commercial solar installations for businesses and organizations of every shape and size, including warehouses, office buildings, churches, industrial sites, and educational campuses.
Unlike most solar companies, we never subcontract our installation work. Every system is designed and installed by our highly trained in-house team, including licensed electricians and NABCEP-certified professionals. This ensures consistency, quality, and accountability from start to finish.
Locally owned and operated in Bucks County for over 20 years, we’ve built a reputation for quality and trust.
Our dedicated in-house team ensures every detail is handled with care—no subcontractors, no surprises.

Being part of Amicus means you get the personal care of a local installer backed by the collective knowledge, experience, and buying power of a nationwide cooperative.
Exact Solar is one of the very few approved COSTARS suppliers through the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, allowing municipalities, schools, and other eligible entities to purchase directly through the state’s cooperative purchasing program.

Solar is simpler than it sounds. Your panels capture sunlight and convert it into electricity for your building. During the day, your facility uses that power first. When the system produces more energy than you need in the moment, the excess flows to the grid, and your utility issues credits that help offset the cost of the power you still buy.
For commercial facilities, the biggest advantage is how solar reduces the amount of energy you pull from the grid during high-cost periods. By lowering daytime usage and flattening demand, solar can reduce both your supply charges and, in many cases, the demand charges that make up a large portion of commercial electric bills.
The goal is simple. Solar helps your organization lower operating costs, stabilize your long-term energy budget, and operate with more control and less exposure to unpredictable utility pricing.

Most commercial systems last 25 to 30 years and include long-term performance warranties. Inverters typically last 10 to 15 years and can be replaced independently of the rest of the system. Exact Solar also provides a workmanship warranty that covers installation and roof penetrations.
Product warranties cover equipment defects. Performance warranties guarantee that your panels will maintain a certain level of output as they age. If a component underperforms or fails, we coordinate directly with the manufacturer to secure replacement equipment and complete the repair.
Commercial solar requires minimal maintenance because there are no moving parts. Rainfall usually keeps panels clean, and your monitoring portal alerts you to any performance issues. For additional support, our service team can provide operations and maintenance services.
Once engineering, permitting, and utility approvals are complete, most small to mid-sized commercial installations take one to four weeks. Larger systems take longer. We coordinate with the utility and municipality and keep your team informed throughout the process.
In most cases, your facility can remain fully operational while we work. Noise and disruption are minimal, and our crews work safely and efficiently to avoid interfering with your staff, customers, or production.
Yes. Commercial solar requires multiple layers of coordination, including building permits, electrical permits, fire code reviews, engineering stamps, and utility interconnection. We manage the entire process and keep your team updated at each stage.
Yes, as long as your site has space and your electrical service can support the expansion. If long-term growth is likely, we can design your initial system with expansion in mind.
Not always. During your assessment, we evaluate roof age, condition, and warranty considerations. If a replacement makes sense, we can coordinate with your roofing contractor so the roof and solar are completed together.
All commercial solar systems remain grid-tied. Solar reduces how much electricity you buy from the utility, but the grid continues to supply power when your system is not producing.
If equipment fails, it is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If an issue is related to installation, it is covered under our workmanship warranty. Our service team is available for troubleshooting, repairs, and long-term system support. Click here to submit a service request.
