West Rockhill Township

Join Exact Solar’s Local Solar Tour to explore West Rockhill Township’s impressive ground-mounted solar system. In 2021, we designed and built this system to meet 100% of the township’s electricity needs, powering everything from maintenance buildings and wells to stoplights and city offices—all with clean, solar energy. The project was led by former board member Jim Miller. Nearly three years later, the system has been performing so well that West Rockhill is on track for a 10-year payback period, effectively eliminating their electricity costs.
